Chelsea Cox — Hospital Manager
Chelsea was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She started volunteering at a local veterinarian hospital when she was 13 years old & has continued in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician. In 2020, Chelsea was promoted to be our Hospital Manager where she oversees day to day tasks of the hospital as well as managing our wonderful team of individuals. She graduated from Armwood High School in 2007. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and her menagerie of animals some of which are foster animals for Second Chance Friends which is a local animal rescue. On her off work time, she enjoys camping with her husband and their 3 boys as well as going fishing, biking, hiking, shopping, reading books, and traveling.
Katlin Kitchens — Veterinary Technician
Katlin was born and raised in Florida and has been working as a veterinary technician since 2014. Her main interests in the veterinary field are animal ultrasonography, surgery, and having a voice for the ones that can’t speak for themselves. She has two dogs, a Doberman “Aria” and a mixed breed “Kiara”. She also has two cats “Nala” and “Simba”. On her free time she enjoys spending her time with her fiancé and their son.
Angela Collins — Veterinary Technician
Angela was born and raised in Plant City, Florida. She enjoys taking care of animals, going to the beach on the weekends, and working on her trucks. She has a tortoise named Speedy and a dog named Moose. She graduated from Strawberry Crest High School in 2015. Angela is part of our veterinary technician team and has been taking college classes at HCC to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Meghan Stone — Veterinary Technician
Meghan grew up in Lakeland Fl. where she graduated from Polk State with her high school diploma and AA degree. She obtained her Certified Veterinary Technician license from HCC here in Plant City. Outside of work Meghan enjoys jeeping, kayaking, shopping with her daughter, camping, and exploring new places. She has 3 cats at home named Lilo, Stitch, and Oliver and 2 dogs as well named Chassie and Marley.
Billi Floyd — Pet Resort Manager
Billi has been our Pet Resort Manager for Timberlane Pet Hospital and Resort for the last 10 years. She has lived in Plant City most of her life and she loves being able to hang out and play with her furry friends in doggie daycare and boarding. When she is not at Timberlane spoiling everyone else’s pets, she enjoys hanging out with her four Huskies at home named Max, Ava, Taz, and Leo.
Patti Leonard — Client Care Specialist
Patti was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since her childhood, she has had a love for animals and in 2003 Patti and her husband Dave relocated to the Tampa Bay area. Moving to Plant City has given her the opportunity to become greatly involved in a local Basset Hound Rescue. She along with her husband have fostered many hounds for Suncoast Basset Rescue over the years and has been involved with fundraising for a number of local animal rescue groups. In 2011 she became part of the Client Care team at Timberlane Pet Hospital and Resort and is now Head of our Client Care Department. She and her husband Dave live in Plant City and share their home currently with their 3 basset hounds, Darla, Butters, and Sophie.
Toni Wazelle — Groomer
Toni is a wife and a mother. She has always known she wanted to work with animals. Toni has been grooming dogs and cats since 2005. She currently lives with 5 cats with but loves grooming cats & dogs as well. She enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family during her time off.
